Supplies:
5mm hook
Worsted weight yarn (approx 125g)
Scissors
Measuring tape
Needle
Stitch markers

Stitches:
Sc= single crochet
Ch=chain
Fpsc= front post single crochet
Hdc=half double crochet
st(s)= stitch(es)
Hdc (blo)= half double crochet back loop only
fptr2tog= front post treble crochet 2 stitches together
fptr =front post treble crochet
slst= slip stitch
sc2tog= single crochet 2 stitches together

This hat is meant to fit an average adult man. It is thick and cozy with the fold up double brim.

Gauge: 8 sts x 4 rows = 2” using brim pattern repeats

Notes:
Chains at start of row do not count as stitches.
Remember to work into hidden stitches after your front post stitches, they can be tricky to find so don’t forget them!
