Westvue Dog Park is our dog’s favourite place in Medicine Hat. The park has trails that intertwine and as the long grass blows in the wind, Daniel (our Golden Retriever) can run freely. While Daniel enjoys the wind, we struggle to keep the chill out, so I designed this hat to keep myself warm as we walk through Westvue.

I hope you like the pattern.

Yarn Used:

  • This pattern calls for a Worsted/Aran Weight yarn. I like using more of an Aran weight, because the wind stays out with a denser knit.
  • For my sample, I used Arcane Fiber Works Worsted (Aran) in Midnight (Colour A, 100 yards) and ‘Some Peace and Quiet’ (Colour B, 60 yards)

I chose ‘Some Peace and Quiet’, because the colours remind me of the Alberta sky when the sun is setting. Check out the link below to see all their colourways.
