Westwood Sunset
This shawl was knit as a breast feeding or nursing cover up. It can be worn as a scarf/shawl until needed, making the wearer look like a genius mom. Of course it can be worn just as any other triangle shawl too.
This shawl can be knit in any weight yarn, however fingering weight was used for this one.
Knit until almost all gone and then cast off, eliminating wasted beautiful hand dyed yarn.
Materials and Tools:
Needles: 5 mm/US 8 minimum 44cm/20 inch long circular needle, suggest using a 120cm long needle if you like to stretch out your work and admire it as you go. If you use another weight yarn use the largest sized suggested needle size, gauge is not critical for this pattern.
Yarn: Fingering (or sock) weight yarn dyed to self-stripe for shawls
