This pattern was designed exclusively for the TFA Year In Colour Club, January 2015, featuring the custom colourway ‘Kaleidoscope’.

A sparkly, multicoloured skein of yarn really demands a special pattern. Something that shows off the best qualities of the skein, without distracting from all that gorgeous colour! I designed the simple and graphic Wex shawl to allow the sparkling tones of Kaleidoscope to shine. Big blocks of garter stitch highlight the variegation while straight lines of airy lace add interest and lightness. Knit from the bottom up, the interesting construction of this shawl means you can use up every last yard of your special skein!
