Whale Shark
For this pattern you’ll need at least 2 crochet hooks. I used a 4mm and a 5mm. I used a 4 medium weight yarn so I went down one hook size for the body (4mm). Then for the top patch of colour I used a 5mm.
Materials
- Yarn for the body; main colour (white)
- Yarn for the patch of colour; secondary colour (blue)
- Scrap amount of yarn to embroider gills (teal)
- Scrap amount of black felt or yarn for the eyes
- Stuffing
Tools
- Scissors
- Darning/sewing needle
- Crochet hook; one size down from the hook size your yarn suggests
- Stitch markers
- Sewing pins
- Weights - washers, rugs, marbles, anything that’s weighted
