Whale Watcher's Hat
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Guage is not critical in this hat, as one size fits most adults. For a smaller hat, use an even number of stitches ending in zero, such as 60 etc. for the decrease rounds to work out correctly. This hat uses 70 stitches, and the first decrease round is k5, k2tog. Therefore, if you are using 60 stitches, the first decrease round would be k4, k2tog.
Use any worsted weight yarn you like; you will be knitting this hat by holding two strands of yarn together as one to get a bulky weight yarn. I used Knitpicks Wool of the Andes Cloud for the white, and Filatura Lanarota 704 for the grey. Try your own favorite colors for a customized hat.
