What a Twist Hat

Who doesn’t love a good twist--in their books or their knitting? The twists in this hat are three-fold: the twisted rib folded cuff, and the twisted cables that make up the body of the hat along with a broken rib motif for a very twisty adventure of stimulating knitting that will keep you saying “just one more row” again and again. Plus, the final twist comes in the hat’s strategic decreases which work together to create a lovely flower motif at the crown.
The What a Twist Hat is knitted from the brim up with a plush, folded, ribbed brim and a broken rib and twisted cable motif all over the body. I’ve included a list of books with jaw-dropping twists that pair particularly well with this pattern for you to read or listen to while you knit, but I had to include my own book, Castles in Their Bones, which I must say ends with a pretty major twist!

Baby: 39.5cm/15.5in
Child/Adult Small: 48.25/18.5in

Note: The sizes listed above refer to the circumference of the hat un-stretched. I suggest choosing a size that is approximately 5cm/2in smaller than the head of the intended wearer for a snug but comfortable fit.
