The What the Heel modified shadow wrap short row heel features an additional wedge shape which adds room and ease over the instep for people who find a traditional short row heel too tight. The new shape helps cup the heel, so if you find your heels slip around in your shoe, this is the heel for you!

This pattern is designed for socks on fingering weight, and features instructions for socks knit on 56, 60, 64, and 72 stitches.
