Wheat and Barley Cowl
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This cowl and fingerless mitts set is knit in the round using a light DK-weight yarn in 2 colors. (Note both items are included in this pattern.)
Both pieces are worked with an easy slip-stitch pattern to create a textured, tweedy pattern.
Note that the slip-stitch pattern is presented in chart form ONLY.
Wheat and barley were essential grains grown in the medieval period. Used not only as food that could be eaten throughout the winter months, they were also essential items in the beer-brewing process. These patterns are part of a larger 6-pattern set featured in the Herbarium Club - Color/Texture ebook. This is the 5th of 6 patterns to be released in 2017.
