Wheat Petals Cardigan
I’m so so happy to be able to present you my first cardigan design, the Wheat Petals Cardigan!
When I created this design I wanted to create an interesting texture that looked like it was knitted, with a modern oversized look adaptable to any outfit and #sizeinclusive .
Here are some characteristics of the design and what you will find inside the pattern:
-
Beginner friendly crochet pattern, written in US Terms.
-
Pattern comes in four sizes: S/M, L/XL, 2XL/3XL, 4XL/5XL (32/38, 40/46, 48/54, 56/62 actual bust sizes in inches).
-
It is designed to be worn with 10”/16” positive ease. If your bust size is in between sizes, size down. Finished bust sizes are 48”, 56”, 64”, 72”.
-
You will find color-coded sizes and step-by-step photos inside the pattern
-
You will need approx. 18, 22, 25, 28 balls of Drops Design’s “Nepal” yarn, or approx. 1476, 1771, 2037, 2242 yards (without pockets) of any weight 4 / Aran / worsted weight yarn.
-
Cardigan is worked widthwise and in five panels: one back panel, two front panels, two sleeve panels. The collar is crocheted all around once it’s sewn.
-
Optional: there are directions on how to make pockets if you want to add them. (Note: you will need to add more yards of yarn)
-
There are directions on how to make a longer or shorter cardigan.
-
The sample in the picture is a size S/M.
I really hope you will enjoy it! :)
At your disposal,
Kristina
