This toe-up sock pattern is written for two circular needles but can easily be adapted for the “magic loop” or DPNs.

Easily-remembered cables have written instructions. The central cable resembles a wheat stalk or ear. Ribbing provides negative ease with plenty of stretch for a range of sizes, without any bunching in your shoes, boots, or slippers. Knitting your own socks allows you to obtain a perfect fit.
