Wheatfield Fingerless Gloves & Cowl
My goal is to create patterns that beginners to advanced knitters can easily create but still have beautiful and thoughtful designs. Knitting with double pointed needles in the round can be difficult, especially when you are first starting out. With the Wheatfield fingerless gloves you don’t have to use double pointed needles to make a fingerless glove. The fingerless gloves and thumbs are knitted flat in short rows and seamed together on the sides. The design of these fingerless gloves are easy to knit and are a great introduction on how to create a thumb gusset.
The style of this pattern is written in longhand instead of abbreviations. This is so that beginners to advanced knitters can smoothly follow along with the pattern, without having to consult the terms and glossary very much. Additionally it’s helpful when we start and stop projects, especially in our busy lives.
