The Wheels Within Wheels Wrap is made using Bruges lace techniques. This is a tape making lace. It is usually made in fine cotton thread without color changes, but doing it larger and with two colors adds a more contemporary feel.

It’s size can easily be adjusted by adding less or more motifs to each row. I wouldn’t recommend using a bigger hook because it will affect the lace look.

The over all project came in between 16 and 17 x 50g balls of navy yarn and less than 1 x 50g ball of grey.

I would rate this pattern between Intermediate and Advanced.
