This blanket design is a celebration of love for colour and crochet itself! I cannot wait to see all the different colour ways everyone will be coming up with! It is quite detailed and uses a large variety of stitches. You will not get bored with this one!

I hope you enjoy making this blanket as much as I did designing it!

Yarn, hook and other requirements:

Any DK or lighter weight yarn and colour way of your choice will work just fine! Any preferred hook size will also be fine as long as you use the same size through out. You can use one solid
and one variegated yarn colour, yarn cakes on their own or paired with a solid, or a variety of colours paired with a solid. You can really let your imagination run wild.

You will require approximately 4250 m/4650 yards for the standard sized blanket (on average 17 x 100 g skeins of DK yarn), if using 2 colours, 8 skeins of colour A and 9 of B. The extender part will
require approximately 4 to 5 additional skeins.
