This sock was inspired by the poem by Jenny Josephs:

“When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn’t go, and doesn’t suit me.”

Here you have a red hat (and shoes!), the ubiquitous pearl necklace, a lacy blouse, and a pleated skirt…all wrapped up in a sock!

This sock comes in three sizes: 7”, 8”, and 9” circumference.

This sock would look equally nice in one, solid color. Not very much yarn is required for the CC.
