Whenever
Whenever is a comfortable pullover knit seamlessly from the top down.
At the top of the yoke some short rows are worked to lower the front neckline. When the neckline shaping is complete the yoke is worked in the round and it is shaped with a raglan shaping where the increase rates vary. The result is a hybrid of a raglan and a saddle shoulder.
After the yoke is complete the stitches of the sleeves are set a side and the body is worked to the bottom hem, then the sleeves are worked in the round to the cuff.
Finally the stitches of the neckband are picked up and some rounds are worked in rib pattern to finish the neckline.
Knit this pullover in one colour for a basic garment or follow the stripe sequence for the 2-colour version.
Gauge
22 sts and 30 rows = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit flat (short rows) with larger needle after blocking
22 sts and 30 rounds = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit in the round (yoke, body and sleeves) with larger needle after blocking
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge

Intended to fit with approx. 6-7.5 cm/2¼-3” positive ease at bust.

Sample shown is size S2 with approx. 6.5 cm/2½” positive ease at bust using The Plucky Knitter Sophisticate (50% merino, 30% mohair, 20% silk; 466 m /510 y per skein) in colourway Choo-Choo as C1 and Twill as C2.
Needles
· 80 cm/32” circular needle in each of the following sizes: 3.5 mm/ US 4 and 3.0 mm/ US 2½ (or size to obtain gauge)
· 40 cm/16” circular needle or double pointed needles (dpns) in each of the following sizes: 3.5 mm/ US 4 and 3.0 mm/ US 2½ for working in small circumferences (or size to obtain gauge) (optional)
40 cm/16” circular needles and dpns are optional if you prefer the Magic Loop Method for working small circumferences in the round.
Notions
· spare circular needles or waste yarn for holding stitches
· stitch markers: 1 red, 3 blue
