Inspired by the movie Moana and Thelittlewolfknits Island Girl countdown mini skein box, the Where You Are Wrap is like wrapping yourself in sunshine! Originally designed to be made with 15 or 30 mini skeins, the wrap can also be made with 3 or 6 full skeins of yarn or even scraps! The pattern is written for two different size options with two weights of yarn. Mix and match the eyelet motifs to make a wrap as unique as you are!

Materials

US 5 / 3.75 mm needle (for fingering weight) or US 7 / 4.5 mm needle (for DK weight) or needle size required to meet gauge
Darning needle

Gauge

Fingering weight: 26 stitches and 34 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette worked flat, blocked on US 5 / 3.75 mm needle

DK weight: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette worked flat, blocked on US 7 / 4.5 mm needle

Sizes 1, 2 (3, 4), corresponding to: Fingering Weight Small, Fingering Weight Large (DK Weight Small, DK Weight Large)

Fingering Weight Small finished dimensions: approximately 17” x 75” / 42.5 x 187.5 cm

Fingering Weight Large finished dimensions: approximately 27” x 98” / 67.5 x 245 cm

DK Weight Small finished dimensions: approximately 14” x 64” / 35 x 160 cm

DK Weight Small finished dimensions: approximately 17.5” x 105” / 44 x 262.5 cm

Yardage

Both Fingering Weight Small and DK Weight Small are meant to be worked with 15 total stripes
Fingering: approximately 17.5g / 81 yds / 74 m per stripe or 263g / 1215 yds / 1111 m total
DK: approximately 18.5g / 51 yds / 47 m per stripe or 278g / 765 yds / 700 m total

Both Fingering Weight Large and DK Weight Large are meant to be worked with 30 total stripes
Fingering: approximately 18g / 84 yds / 77 m per stripe or 540g / 2520 yds / 2304 m total
DK: approximately 19g / 53 yds / 48 m per stripe or 570g / 1590 yds / 1454 m total
