Many of us are still waiting on our owls… sigh, I know I am…

The “Where’s My Owl?” cowl is double knitted in the round and features a magical castle’s silhouette…always there to welcome you home! Because it is double-knitted, the sides mirror each other and both sides are “finished”- no pesky floats to get caught on anything.

This pattern changes its contrast color part way through, allowing 3 different colors on the right side of the cowl. If you’re feeling particularly fanciful there’s the option to add duplicate stitch over the windows in the castle to show someone is up late practicing their spell work, as well as some single-stitch “stars” randomly placed across the sky using yellow or gold yarn.

The pattern requires approximately 260 yards of fingering weight yarn for the sky, 210 yards for the castle, and 50 yards for the clouds and moon. Duplicate stitching requires a small amount of fingering weight gold yarn.
