Let me introduce the Whimsical Faun Beanie. I used my style of ridges to design these uniquely shape of horns, so we can become some magical horned creatures!

The Whimsical Faun Beanie comes with two different hat styles. You can either make it as a regular beanie or an earflap beanie! The pattern also has two different styles of hat ties. You can either do some fun curls or some vines. The pattern does included Adult and Child sizes for all styles.

The Whimsical Faun beanie is worked with a single strand! It is a lot friendlier on your hands compared to the witch hat or the bonnet. However it is worked slightly tighter than the slouchy witch hat. I used Heartland by Lion Brand for the beanie styles, and Big Twist Party for the earflaps styles. These are a medium worsted weight yarn. Not as heavy as a RHSS or Caron One Pound (Some of my testers did use RHSS, they just had to go down in hook sizes, do keep in mind this will make it tighter to work with but it is doable.) I personally used Caron Cloud Cakes to test out different yarns. This yarn is a thinner worsted weight. I did not change my hook size because I wanted to test it out, and it worked perfectly for a toddler size hat. (Please keep yarn thickness into consideration.) I am currently working on one with Big Twist Value which is also on the medium thickness of a worsted weight, and I CANNOT wait to show you!!!

The pattern is 23 pages, and includes lots of pictures with instructions for both left and right handed crocheters. The pattern also includes a private video aid. This is just to give you a little bit of extra help during the most difficult parts of the pattern. (The video link is private so please do not share the link provided.)
