This poncho is airy and lacy looking worked in two separate pieces. The front triangles are worked in an easy mesh filet and the side panels are crocheted directly onto the front panels with a lacy wave stitch that is a little more complex than my usual pattern but I have provided a video tutorial for those that need some additional help with this fun stitch. I think this stitch actually looks more complex than it really is especially since it essentially just a two row repeat!
As written, I would expect the poncho to fit most. However, the poncho is easily customizable just by adding or subtracting rows to the side panels. I used pretty much all of the 5 balls of yarn so if your gauge is different than mine or if you upsize the pattern at all you would need a 6th ball of yarn to complete your project.
This flattering, stylish and trendy poncho will be a breezy and beautiful addition to your wardrobe!
