A simple, lacy cowl featuring a brand-new stitch called Twisted Cluster that makes the most of a single gorgeous skein of yarn. (Sample cowl measures about 40” x 7.5” and can be worn multiple ways.)

Whimsicality starts with a row of decorative edging (no long chains to stitch into!), is worked in the round, then finished with a mirrored edging row. A large hook and back loop only stitches make for super drape and flexibility. The detachable Tunisian Simple Stitch button band gives extra wearing options.

Because cowl is worked in sets of clusters, very little counting is required. Custom sizing was never easier - for a longer cowl just make a longer starting edge. For a wider cowl, stitch more rows. It’s up to you!

For an easy striped cowl, use a long colour-changing yarn like Casablanca or Noro. A solid or hand-dyed yarn will give lovely, subtle texture.

Any yarn weight will work with an appropriate sized hook. For best drape, choose a hook larger than recommended for yarn.
