Whimsy Kerchief
From the site:
The purple kerchief was made with worsted weight acrylic on US#5 needles. The green version was made with sport weight mercerized cotton on US#7 needles. Use whatever yarn and needles you like: thicker yarn and/or smaller needles for a tighter, firmer mesh; thinner yarn and/or larger needles for a lacier, more open effect. Gauge doesn't matter since you knit this from the tip up and just stop when it reaches the size you want.
Instructions are included for a plain mesh kerchief as well as the zig-zag version in which the diagonal line of the mesh changes direction as often as you choose. Also, instructions are included to finish the kerchief with an i-cord tie or an eyelet edging through which a ribbon can be threaded.
