Simple colourwork mittens worked either flat or in the round.

Size: 18 cm circumference
Yarn: DROPS Baby Merino in 2 colours. Sample uses colours 19 (MC), 105 m (30 grams) and 26 (CC), 20 m (6 grams)
Or use any fingering weight yarn you like
Needles: 3.0 mm dpns (set of 5) or long circular (if worked in the round)
Gauge: 31 sts and 39 rows in stockinette stitch, on 3.0 mm needles
Size can be altered by changing needle size.
Notions: scrap yarn for tubular cast on, tapestry needle for sewing in ends
