Your doll will love to bundle up in her cozy new Whirlwind Hat to play out in the snow! This beautiful hat has two options. You can make an easy beanie hat, or slouch hat with a brim and tassels. You will love the textured pattern that whirls from the very top of the hat all the way down to the bottom. If you want to make a beanie hat you will need one color of yarn, and if you want to make the slouch hat with a brim and tassels you will need two colors of yarn. The length of the hat is easy to adjust to your liking. You can add less or more rnds to make it longer or shorter.

This is an intermediate level crochet pattern. It includes written instructions along with step-by-step pictures. Also included is a Summary of Instructions (without pictures). This summary is 3 pages long. It is basically the written instructions only, and will save ink if you need to print the pattern.

Materials Needed:

-35 grams of Fingering Weight #1 Yarn in 1 or 2 colors
-Crochet Hook Size: D/3-3.25MM
-Sharp Needle weaving in your loose ends
-Fur Pom Pom (optional) I purchased my fur pom pom from Hobby Lobby as a key chain. These pom pom key chains can also be purchased from Amazon.com. I removed the key chain part and hand sewed the pom pom to the top of my hat.
