As a mum, I’m quite often rocking a messy bun or ponytail, so beanies can sometimes feel constricting.

quite often I head off for a walk whether it’s to school drop off/pick up or just to the shops & notice that the wind makes my ears cold.

So I thought it was time to convert my beanie to a messy bun/ponytail beanie!

This ponytail beanie is a simple flat brioche cable. It is a quick brioche knit in the round. This pattern can be done in two contrasting colours or one colour.

This pattern is worked in a 12 stitch repeat, so the instructions are written for the repeat.
