These tipsy striped squares are created by the directional biasing of the lines of decreases. Each section of the bag is knit onto a previous piece and the whole requires only minimal finishing. Limitless variations are possible.

The bag is begun with one large square (or four half-size squares) which will define the size of the bag and the other side of the bag may be one large square with the option to reverse the colours.
