This pattern is of a slouchy hat (almost a beret) and contains a stitch known as the bowknot. For this pattern, I used less than a skein of Caron Simply Soft in Pagoda.

To those who have downloaded this pattern prior to 11-15-13, there is an error. “Switch to smaller needles” should read: “Switch to DPNs”.
