Whispering Trails
Pattern instructions are both written and charted.
Gauge is not crucial to this type of pattern.
Brioche is a wonderfully textured stitch. Knit with two colours it creates deep stripes that when cabled look like meandering pathways all over the cowl.
If you know how to cable but have never tried Brioche or can knit basic brioche and want to jazz it up - here is that perfect easy pattern. Kick it up a notch and knit it with the Rowan Cashmere Haze and you have the perfect neck warmer - soft as a cloud and warm as toast!
Next step learning in Brioche – simple cable crosses paired with the deep ribbing of two-coloured brioche create a wonderfully textured fabric – perfect for a simple cowl. It is also perfectly reversible!
Notes and tips for knitting Brioche are included in the pattern. There is also a chart for checking off rounds as it is easy to lose track of when to place the next cable round.
Knit with Rowan’s Cashmere Haze in two colours this textured cowl is super soft and luxurious around your neck.
The pattern is easy to adjust for a longer version or a taller version just add repeats of the 16 st, 10 round pattern.
