It was so much fun to design this shawl. I experimented with three different yarn weights and used wool felt, beads and embroidery to embellish it.

Measurements:
length 215 cm/85 inch
width 55 cm/22 inch (measured at the widest point at the back)

There are two versions; one in off white and one using lots of colours.

You can use the yarns mentioned in the pattern, but it’s also possible to use stash yarn and maybe hold two strands together to create the bulky weight yarn.

The colourful version is made with two Drops Garnstudio yarns Snow and Fabel, the third yarn is a mix of two brands gradient yarn by Rico Design and Lang Yarns.

Drops Snow 400 m/438 yards
Drops Air 300 m/328 yards

Yarn amounts colourful version:

Drops Snow a total of 550 m/602 yards (colours are stated in the pattern)
Rico Design Creative Melange Chunky and Lana Grossa Gomitolo Mezzo a total of 450 m/493 yards

Furthermore you will need:

Wool felt:
White version Off White 10 x 15 cm (4 x 6 inches)
Colourful version Fuchsia, Pink and Magenta approximately 10 x 20 cm each (4 x 8 inches)

Beads:
White version: 3 mm. A minimum of 48 pearls.
Colorful version: 3 mm in pink, red and green. A minimum of: Red 64, Pink 112, Green 16.

Embroidery thread:
White version: gold
Colourful version: pink
