This hat was developed using Caoua Coffee’s chart for her sock design “Sheep may safely graze” (Caoua Coffee has graciously allowed me to use her chart in this pattern).

It is a bottom up beanie type hat using two colours of DK weight yarn - I used 42 grams of the main colour and 14grams of the secondary colour - so I recommend having 50g of the main colour and at least 20g of the second one.

It comes in one size for an average woman’s head but can be easily modified for different sizes.

The name came from a conversation I had with my young niece on the traditional nursery rhyme.
