Making this pattern had a calming effect on me. It is intuitive and engrossing. With this Covid situation I have been needing things that distract me from reality and give me a sense of accomplishment. This hat fits the bill and the wonderful Drops yarn definitely helps.

Material: Less than 100gm of DK weight yarn. The sample was made with Drops Puna about 220 meters (241 yards), 100 grams

Hook Size: 4.5mm (US7)

Gauge: 18 sts x 8 rows in dc, make 10 cm / 4 “in dc

Sizes: S, M, L (20”,22”,24”) / (51, 56, 61) cm. The height of the hat is (21, 22, 23) cm / (7.6”, 8”, 8.4”)

Notions: Darning needle, pompom (optional), one 20mm button
