I made this dress for my daughter to her 3rd year birthday. It was inspired by the famous pink dress of Dalva from Brazil (not on Ravelry). However, I could not follow or missed some instructions, had to improvise and finally came up with a somewhat different version which I would like to share. I created the written description, added some photos and charts. Besides, I saw quite similar models on a Chinese and a Russian forum so I really do not know who was the first one to come up with those cascading ruffles. It is technically very easy to make, but quite time-consuming due to wide shape.
The same pattern can be used to make a top or a skirt and is adjustable to any size.
If you make it pure white and decorate with flowers and ribbons, it can be used as a christening dress or for a wedding ceremony.
