This crescent shaped shawl is worked in one piece from the top down. The body is shaped using short rows. The lace edging is then worked last. The shawl is completed with a knitted picot bindoff.
The lace contains an Estonian gathered stitch, 2/2.
Two skeins of Capretta was used, but any fingering weight yarn may be substituted.

The inspiration for this shawl is White Feather, a dainty creamy hosta, which appears in the early spring. Later in the year, green speckles appear and it eventually turns completely green in the summer. It is a welcome sight in our garden in spring.
