This is a pattern for a baby blanket (afghan, christening shawl) in lace design made with light worsted (category 3) yarn and size G/6 (4.25 mm) crochet hook. Specifically, I used Snuggly Wuggly Big by Loops & Threads, but other brands will work too.

The finished blanket measures approximately 36 by 30 inches. But it can be easily adjusted to a bigger size (I included the multiple for the pattern).

The skill level is beginner. The stitches used are: chains, single crochets, double crochets, and slip stitches. Very easy!

The pattern is written in English, using the US crochet terminology.
