White Monday
Every Sunday I try to take some time off and enjoy the day. Usually it means watching some documentary and knitting lace, sometimes I lose myself into reading a great book. After such day, I can’t have a so called blue Monday.
I read today, that there is a real Blue Monday, which was calculated by using an equation. This day is usually on third Monday of January, but also may be on other Mondays of January.
So I would prefer to have all Monday white, fresh start for a great week of knitting, learning and reading books.
Pattern of shawl is charted and easy to follow. Shawl gets its shape by decreasing method – you start with bunch of a stitches (edge lace) and decrease stitches as instructed.
Take it into consideration that final result will depend on yarn weight, size of needles and your knitting gauge.
