The white peacock is a symbol of purity, but also of love, beauty, passion and wealth – thus it is perfect not only for a wedding, but actually for all beautiful occasions in life That’s why it gets the starring role on this stole. The mandala in the center and the embellishment pick up on the peacock theme, creating a harmonious and beautiful overall look.

The same motif can also be used for an impressive table runner as a decoration for very special days.

This wrap is knitted in the double knitting technique. Thus, it is extra soft and looks beautiful on both sides.

Material:
4-ply gradient yarn, two different colours, about 1000 m each; I used the set “White Peacock” from Mister Twister (available online, link is included in the pattern)
knitting needles 2.5 mm / US 1 ½ or 3 mm / US 2 ½, depending on your tension
tapestry needle, scissors

Der weiße Pfau steht symbolisch für Reinheit, aber auch für Liebe, Schönheit, Leidenschaft und Reichtum – er passt damit nicht nur wunderbar zu einer Hochzeit, sondern eigentlich zu allen schönen Gelegenheiten im Leben Deshalb bekommt er auf dieser Stola die Hauptrolle. Das Mandala im Zentrum der Stola sowie die Verzierung greifen das Pfauenthema auf, so dass ein stimmiges und wunderschönes Gesamtbild entsteht.

Als Dekoration für ganz besondere Festlichkeiten kann das gleiche Motiv auch für einen eindrücklichen Tischläufer verwendet werden.

Die Stola wird in Doubleface gestrickt. Dadurch wird sie kuschelig weich und sieht von beiden Seiten toll aus.

Bobbel 4-fädig mit Farbverlauf nach Deinem Geschmack; hier verwendet: je ca. 1000 m pro Farbe vom Set “White Peacock” von Mister Twister (online erhältlich, Link ist in der Anleitung)
Stricknadeln 3 mm (falls Du eher locker strickst, empfehle ich eine Nadelstärke kleiner)
Vernähnadel, Schere
