White Pines
The yarn I used for this pattern is our hand dyed SW Merino - Bulky from our yarn web site www.yarnhygge.com
Each skein are approx. 108 yards/3.5 oz
If you do not happen to have a bulky yarn with approx. 108 yards/3.5 oz Regular Icelandic Lopi works perfectly for this pattern.
I originally wrote the pattern for this yarn.
You can easily adjust this pattern by either changing needle size or adding stitches between the White Pines.
Just make sure to adjust your decreases accordingly.
Your main color (back ground) requires the 1 skein with approx. 108 yards.
The White Pine requires the 1 skein - but you only need approx. 30 yards of the skein.
The Brown Trunk… you could use any leftover brown you had - it is only used for 3 rounds. You would have enough for a ton of hats with one skein.
