Whitehead Socks
The Whitehead Socks were inspired by a row of houses in
the coastal village of Whitehead in N. Ireland, but you can
find your favourite row of painted houses, dive into your
minis and leftovers to knit a pair of socks as a reminder.
The socks are knit cuff down with rows of little lace houses.
The lace pattern is written out and charted. The pattern is
written for two sizes: medium and large, with a wedge toe
and a Wrap and Turn short row heel, however the heel and
toe can be changed to your own choice. They are knit using
the magic loop method but can be adapted to suit your
preferred method of sock knitting.
