Whitethorn Woods Shawl
by Carole Marie
I started this design, just playing with cable and lace, when I was given a book by a friend written by Maeve Binchy, (I collect them).
The book cover had all the colours of my yarn, so I decided to name the shawl after the book,
’Whitethorn Woods’.
It is quite a simple lace and cable design, and I have written and charted the instructions.
4.5mm circular needles (80cm)
One ball Zauberball Crazy
Cable needle
Markers if you use them.
I haven’t given dimensions for the shawl as it can be as big or as little as you like.
The 4th picture shows a different colour way
