This beanie pattern is knit in the round on either an 18” circular needle or double pointed needles. It’s a very quick project since it uses super bulky yarn, and would make a great gift! The finished hat is adult-sized with a slouchy fit, and looks nice with or without the optional pompom. It can also be turned inside out for a slightly different texture.

Sizing: The finished hat should be approximately 19” around (unstretched) by 8.5” tall.

Gauge: 9 sts and 12 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Materials:
-  Two skeins of Lion Brand Hometown USA (example is shown in El Paso Autumn, if substituting yarn you will need 72 yards of super bulky weight (CYC-6) yarn)

-  One set of US 13 (9.00 mm) double pointed needles 

-  One US 13 (9.00 mm) 18” circular needle (optional, the entire hat can be knit on 
dpns)

-  Scissors

-  Tapestry needle

-  Pompom (optional)
