Whitsunday Butterfly Knitted Shawl
by Nancy Nagle
This easy Whitsunday shawl is very drapey and can be worn many ways.
It knits up quick and is a great travel project due to the ease and simplicity of the body of the shawl. The edging adds a little more interest and flounce.
This piece is shaped as half a hexagon, with increases at
each edge and on two points in the body of the garment. Blocking can emphasize the flouncy edging.
Enjoy!
