The scarf is inspired by the Paul Smith multi-coloured scarf worn by the Thirteenth Doctor. It is knitted in stocking stitch width-wise and you have the choice of having one main colour or two and creating a double-knitted look. The scarf is knitted predominantly in Stylecraft Special DK yarn.

It uses 18 colours of yarn.
