For these mid-calf socks you are going to knit a Fair Isle mustache design across the leg and foot of the sock. Only one or two colors are used in each round.

The socks are knitted cuff-down with a reinforced French heel (with a sole gusset!) and a rounded toe.

DPNs in 2.5 mm (cuff) and 2.75 mm (for the rest)

Sock yarn (170 m / 50 g) in 3 colors: teal, light beige and orange
