Whole lotta love
Not only am I a big Led Zeppelin fan, I’m also a rough around the edges romantic. A bit of a tomboy. This shawlette was designed to match this - a bit lacy, but not overly.
Level: Intermediate
20sts and 30 rows = 4” / 10cm in st st.
Matching exact gauge isn’t crucial, but your gauge will obviously affect the finished size.
Uses one skein of sockyarn, but can be made bigger easier with more yarn and more pattern repeats.
Knitting skills used in this pattern: knitting front and back into same stitch, knit 2 stitches together, yarn overs, slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over, provisional cast on and cabling.
Written pattern. Looks complicated, but it’s really easy.
I used my own dyed yarn, but you can do this with any sock yarn/fingering weight you have around. I haven’t tried it yet in a heavier yarn weight, but I think it’s worth trying.
