My husband and I occasionally meet for lunch at the large chain grocery store near his work—sometimes referred to by friends and colleagues as Whole Paycheck. After eating lunch, while shopping for groceries, I’m intrigued by all the non-grocery offerings: flowers, candles, toiletries, cosmetics, clothing, accessories, etc. Recently, I noticed a cowl while shopping, a simple design, machine knit with acrylic yarn. I opted for the groceries, but immediately went home to recreate the cowl. I’m not fond of acrylic yarn and I don’t own a knitting machine, so here is my version of that cowl made from 100% superwash wool. You can now have a simple, stylish wool cowl, that won’t burn through your whole paycheck.
