Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Infinity Scarf
Are you waiting for the day The Doctor knocks on your door to tell you that there’s some invisible something-or-other living in that room you didn’t even know was at the back of your hallway? Maybe you’re not a “get swept up by The Doctor” kind of gal, but can’t wait to help demolish some Cybermen and Daleks by his side? Until that day, spend your time knitting up this stylish infnity scarf, you strong, independent future companion!
Inspired by the 4th Doctor’s infamous knitted accessory but this scarf won’t even take half the time to knit. Rows of wibbly wobbly lace stitches, followed by rows of timey wimey cables, combine to create a scarf that seems like it never ends. You know, like all of time and space!
This infinity scarf is worked flat, starting from a provisional cast-on. The lace section is worked for 70% of the scarf, then the cable section is worked for 30%. Kitchener stitch is used to seam the cast-on edge to the end of the scarf.
