I had a little left of each of these three yarns, so I created another small cowl from the remainders. The motif is from a 17th century embroidery book – I mirrored the motif back on itself to achieve this look. I thought the motif looked like a little like an insect, so I named it Wicgan, which means a kind of insect in Old English.
