Wichteline Wollliebe ist ein Garnspender, d. h. du kannst in ihr Inneres ein Knäul einlegen und aus dem Wollknäul, dass sie in Händen hält, kommt der Wollfaden heraus, so dass du bequem stricken kannst. Das angefangene Strickstück kannst du in ihren Rucksack packen, wenn du gerade nicht stricken möchtest. Wichteline passt gerne darauf auf. Nadeln kannst du ihr in den Arm klemmen, im und am Rucksack können auch weitere Strickutensilien aufbewahrt werden. So hast du immer eine nette Strickbegleitung an deiner Seite, dein Projekt dekorativ aufbewahrt und sofort zur Hand.
Wichteline wird doppelfädig mit Sockengarn gestrickt. Du kannst auch ein dickeres Garn benutzen und einfädig stricken. Wichtig ist, dass die Maschenprobe stimmt. Für einen stabilen Rucksack ist ein dickeres Garn besser geeignet, das doppelfädig verstrickt wird.
Da Wichteline ein Garnspender ist, muss ein wenig gebastelt werden, damit sie ein stabiles Innenleben bekommt. Keine Angst, es wird alles gut beschrieben und zusätzlich mit zahlreichen Fotos und Zeichnungen erklärt. Die Bastelarbeit ist überschaubar und für jeden gut zu machen. Du benötigst: Karton (z. B. Versandkarton), Bastelkleber, 1 leere Garnspule aus Pappe (die normalerweise für Nähseide benutze wird, oder ein dicker Papierstrohhalm), Backpapier, 2 Knöpfe (ca. 2cm Durchmesser, wenn möglich mit Öse).
Wichtelines Geschichte stimmt dich auf die Anleitung ein und am Ende findest du ihr ganz persönliches Pfefferkuchenrezept, dass du nachbacken kannst.

Yvana Yarnlove is a yarn dispenser, that means you can put the ball of yarn inside her and the woolen thread will come out of the ball of yarn that Yvana is holding in her hands, so that you can knit comfortably. You can put the knitted piece you have started in Yvana’s backpack if you don’t want to knit at the moment. Yvana likes to take care of it. You can lay Yvana needles into her arms. Other knitting utensils can also be stored in and on the backpack. So you always have a nice knitting companion at your side, your project stored decoratively and immediately at hand.
Yvana is knitted double-thread with sock yarn. You can also use a thicker yarn and knit in one strand. It is important that the gauge is correct. For a stable backpack, a thicker yarn that is knitted double-threaded is more suitable.
Since Yvana is a yarn dispenser, a little bit of tinkering has to be done to give her a stable interior. Don’t worry, everything is well described and also explained with numerous photos and drawings. The handicraft work is not much and easily feasible for everyone.You will need: cardboard (e.g. shipping box), craft glue, an empty cardboard thread spool (which is usually used for sewing thread, or a thick paper straw), baking paper, 2 buttons (approx. 2cm diameter, if possible with an eyelet).
