This is a simple pattern for an easy and quick dishcloth. It uses knit and purl stitches to create a lovely “basket weave” texture. It’s a useful and pretty addition to your kitchen or bathroom and a set of them make a very pretty gift!

What you will need:
81 yd (74 m) of worsted weight cotton, such as Lily’s Sugar n Cream. US 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles.
Tapestry yarn needle
Scissors

Skill level: Beginner

Skills needed: Casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off.
