This hat was inspired by my favorite little German (a long-haired dachshund named Rondo) and named for my favorite Schumann Lied. I didn’t intend to release the pattern on Valentine’s Day, but when I finally had the chance to sit down and measure my last test-knit hat, it happened to be February 14.

This stranded hat will keep you toasty warm while making you easily identifiable to other dachshund fans. These make great gifts for anyone owned by a wiener dog, or anyone who just loves the breed!
